The Big Bang

In class I experienced the first episode of The Big Bang Theory. I do not really watch television that much so I would have to say it was a pretty entertaining show. One question that I have is why are nerds considered nerds? Seeing how in the end they were the ones with the typical reflection of a "popular" person. When they went to confront her ex-boyfriend about her TV, they came out with no pants. They should have just laughed in Kurt's face and say "at least we have the girl". Another question I have is Why do the blonds always get stuck being the popular dumb girls? Being a blond myself it is kind of offensive, but I'm use to it. "Most blonde's are dumb" is a stereotype that this society has come up with, and I do not see it ever going away. Hopefully I will get to experience more episodes of The Big Bang Theory so that I can get a better understanding out of their humor.
